Polar vortex 'simply kind of vanishes' and US Midwest heats up

The polar vortex that secured the US Midwest below zero climate and prompted the passings of somewhere around 21 individuals will offer approach to milder, snow-softening temperatures this end of the week.

By Saturday, highs will be during the 30s and even low 40s. The focal Plains will be in the low 60s, about 20 to 25 degrees better than average, the climate benefit said.
