Popular artistes Mosharraf Karim and Ishana will appear together in ‘Hay Shamshed’, a seven-episode Eid drama serial, during the upcoming Eid-ul-Azha.
The serial has been written by Sajin Ahmed and directed by Maruf Mithu.
DhakaLive has news that the shooting of the serial has been completed recently. It was shot in various locations in Uttara.
About the plot of the serial, Maruf Mithu said, “It tries to present the transformation of a person, who, after taking a bribe in the regular manner, shuns the moral path and becomes quite ruthless.”
Mosharraf Karim plays the title role in the serial, while Ishana plays the character of Pranti, the love interest of the main protagonist.
Mosharraf Karim said, “Mithu produces drama serials with a lot of care. I trust his direction skills. I had asked him to direct the drama serial ‘Tini Ashben’ under my production. The projects that I have worked under his direction have received audience appreciation.”
“‘Hay Shamshed’ is an Eid drama serial based on reality of life. The character is quite unique,” he added.
“The work went really well and I enjoyed the shooting a lot. Working with Mosharraf Karim is always a pleasure. I hope that the audiences will find love the character of Pranti,” said Ishana.
The other casts in the serial include Robena Reza Jui, Kochi Khandakar and Pran Roy, among others.
