Bangladesh Biman Airlines and Bangladesh Ansar and VDP moved to the women's team event semi-finals eliminating their respective rivals in the quarter-finals on the second day of the 37th National Senior Table Tennis Championship held on Wednesday at Shaheed Tajuddin Ahmed Indoor Stadium in the city.
In the day's women's quarterfinal events, Bangladesh Biman beat Patuakhali district team while Bangladesh Ansar and VDP defeated Jessore district team, both by straight 3-0 set to reach the last four.
In the day's men's section pre-quarter final, Meherpur district edged past Dhaka district by 3-2 set to move the quarter-final event.
