Travelling on an international flight requires a passport, but domestic passengers can collect boarding passes upon producing tickets at check-in counters.
The CAAB circular said valid passports, national IDs, driving licences and photo IDs issued by educational institutions or relevant organisations will be counted as identification.
Check-in counters have been instructed to issue boarding passes only after confirming the name of the passenger as shown on the photo ID is the same as that given on the ticket.
