U-19s take 3-0 lead against NZ

Bangladesh under-19s took a triumphant 3-0 lead in the five-coordinate Youth ODI arrangement against their New Zealand partners with an eight-wicket win in the third match at Bert Sutcliffe Oval in Lincoln today.

Mahmudul Hasan Joy scored an unbeaten century while opener Tanzid Hasan and center request batsman Towhid Hridoy scored half-hundreds of years as Bangladesh traveled to 229 for two in 36.5 overs after the hosts had scored 223 for eight in their fifty overs.

Mahmudul, who was rejected for 99 in the second ODI, stayed unbeaten on 103 off 95 conveyances, his innings highlighting 16 fours and a six.

Tanzid scored 65 off 64 conveyances while Hridoy remained not out on 51.

Prior, in spite of Ferguson Lellman's unbeaten 116, the hosts could just oversee 223 keeps running in their exposition. Tanzim Hasan Sakib, Avishek Das and Hasan Murad took two wickets each for Bangladesh.

The fourth ODI will be hung on Wednesday.
