Korea's Jang secures Busan LPGA in play-off nailbiter

South Korea's Jang Ha-na secured the debut BMW Ladies Championship in a nailbiting finale confrontation with Danielle Kang on Sunday, edging the American on home turf in a three-gap season finisher.

The previous world number 10 was coincidental the pace medium-term and slipped to four behind before a falcon on the standard five eleventh gap stepped her once again into conflict at the $2 million challenge in Busan.

It was a barbarous destruction for Kang - enjoying some real success after a success in Shanghai on her 27th birthday celebration a weekend ago - who completed customary play with a competition record eight under 64 including a four-birdie keep running from the eighth gap.

Kang's short game has been in singing structure yet bombed her in the subsequent play-off opening on the 412-yard eighteenth when a putt from 10 feet avoided around the gap, provoking the American to hurl her arms in dissatisfaction.

Jang asserted the title on the following opening with a birdie after Kang's third stroke left her too far to even think about keeping level.
