IEDCR affirms 81 dengue-related passings; 360 new patients hospitalized

The Institute of Epidemiology, Disease Control and Research (IEDCR) on Friday affirmed that 81 individuals had kicked the bucket of dengue since the start of this current year.

The disclosure went ahead Friday after the IEDCR checked on 136 out of 231 cases.

In the mean time, 360 new patients were hospatalised the nation over in 24 hours till the morning, the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) said.

Of them, 82 were in Dhaka and 278 in different pieces of the nation, it said.

At present 1,557 patients are being treated in various clinics the nation over. Of them, 990 are in the capital.

Bangladesh has encountered an enormous dengue flare-up this year. Be that as it may, the circumstance began improving from the earliest starting point of September with moderately low number of new cases revealed every day.
