bdnews24.com's Mamun wins first prize at Bangladesh Tourism Board photograph challenge

The photograph for which he won the prize was taken on Apr 2018. It demonstrates a customary authority social event nectar from a wild bee sanctuary in the Sundarbans.

There were eight prizes - four expert and area organization classes each- - and 50 regular prizes in the challenge.

bdnews24.com's Head of News Photography Muhammad Mostafigur Rahman, prominently known as Mamun, has won the principal prize under the expert class in the Bangladesh Tourism Board photograph challenge. State Minister for Civil Aviation and Tourism Mahbub Ali gave the prize to Mamun at a program in Dhaka on Friday.

In the expert class, Firoz Al Saba won the second, Ashraful Alam third and Piklu fourth prizes

Mamun got Tk 200,000 in prize cash. The runner up victor got Tk 100,000, the third Tk 50,000 and the fourth Tk 25,000. The general prize cash was worth Tk 10,000.

Under the region organization classification, Kushtia got the first, Faridpur second, Rangamati third and Cox's Bazar fourth prizes.

State Minister for Civil Aviation and Tourism Md Mahbub Ali gave over the prizes to the champs in the photograph challenge in Dhaka on Friday

The Bangladesh Tourism Board says that the target arranging the challenge is to gather pictures of appealing places of interest in Bangladesh. The photographs will be utilized for advancing the travel industry programs in better places of the nation and abroad
