Laos storm into last

Laos raged into the Bangamata Under-19 Women's International Gold Cup last by dispensing a gigantic 7-1 rout on Kyrgyzstan in the principal elimination round at the Bangabandhu National Stadium yesterday.

Laos midfielder Pe scored four objectives while forward Vady Inthiya, midfielder Monthip Sisketh and safeguard Lanoy Vongsingkham struck one objective each in the single direction traffic. Protector Askarova Aiturgan pulled a lone objective back for Kyrgyzstan.

Pe opened her hattrick by scoring in the eighth, 21st and 86th minutes while she wrapped up the defeat by asserted her fourth objective a short ways from time.

Vady, Monthip and Lanoy additionally got their names on the scoresheet, scoring in the 57th, 74th and stoppage time separately.

Laos will play the last on May 4 against the champs of the second elimination round among Bangladesh and Mongolia today.

Having struck 18 objectives in three matches, Laos have officially sent a solid message to whoever their rivals will be in the last.

Pe is currently the most noteworthy scorer of the competition with eight objectives, striking a prop against both Mongolia and Tajikistan in the gathering stage.
