First Rajshahi-Dhaka direct train propelled

Another intercity train administration associating Dhaka and Rajshahi started administration toward the beginning of today with an intend to support rail network with the northern region.

The train 'Bonolota Express' started its trial from Rajshahi Railway Station, leaving for Dhaka at 10:10am early today, reports our nearby staff reporter.

Head administrator Sheik Hasina initiated the administration through video gathering. It was she who named the train after the well known champion of Jibanananda Das.

Rajshahi Mayor AHM Khairuzzaman Liton hailed off the train from the station.

The train will keep running here and there Dhaka-Rajshahi six days of the week with Fridays off. Railroad authorities said the passage will be 10 percent more than existing rates.

The train is booked to withdraw Rajshahi at 7:00am consistently and achieve Dhaka at 11.40am. It will leave again from Dhaka at 1:30pm and reach Rajshahi at 6:10pm.

The train has 12 mentors, imported from Indonesia as of late, and two motors, imported from India in 2010. It was taken to Rajshahi from Ishwardi intersection on April 23.

The no-break administration will end for a compulsory five-minute operational stoppage before moving its wheels over Bangabandhu Bridge on Jamuna stream and a stop at Airport Station, Dhaka.

The new train is decreasing the Rajshahi-Dhaka venture by 60 minutes. The train would drive at 85 kilometers for every hour and back off to 16kmph speed while crossing a station.

The normal voyage time through its 343-kilometer course is four hours and 40 minutes.

Three intercity trains – Silk City, Padma and Dhumketu express – are right now working on the Rajshahi-Dhaka course with a six-and-half hour venture time.
