Camp continues going all out

Following a two-dawn, the individuals from the Bangladesh cricket group will continue their preparation camp in front of the voyage through Ireland from today at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur.

Barring bad habit chief Shakib Al Hasan, who is at present playing in the Indian Premier League for Sunrisers Hyderabad, every outstanding individual from the Tigers' 15-part squad are required to join the camp today.

Just five individuals from the squad - Mushfiqur Rahim, Tamim Iqbal, Mahmudullah Riyad, Rubel Hossain and Mustafizur Rahman - had recently participated in the preparation camp.

The rest of the individuals, including ODI captain Mashrafe Bin Mortaza, were occupied with the Dhaka Premier League, which finished up on April 23. They are relied upon to join the camp today.

The cricketers are going to rehearse for the following two days before the camp finishes on April 29. The group will withdraw for Ireland on May 1 pursued by a lay day on April 30.

In the interim, the selectors will sit in a gathering today to examine whether to incorporate an additional seamer for the tri-country arrangement as there are some damage concerns.

It was found out that the selectors were thinking about Farhad Reza or Taskin Ahmed. The last has higher odds of making a rebound to the side after at first being dropped from both the tri-arrangement and World Cup squads.

"We are hoping to incorporate an additional seamer in the side as there are some damage concerns. I can't make reference to any names yet we will sit today and talk about the issue," boss selector Minhajul Abedin disclosed to The Daily Star yesterday.

Shakib is relied upon to return home and after that movement with the group for the tri-country arrangement, which includes the hosts and West Indies close by the Tigers.

In the wake of finishing the arrangement, the Tigers will make a trip to England where they will experience a five-day molding camp in Leicester before beginning their World Cup battle.
