Dark buck case: Jodhpur HC issues notice to Saif, Sonali, Tabu among others

The Jodhpur High Court has issued a notice to film performing artists Saif Ali Khan, Sonali Bendre, Neelam Kothari, Tabu and Dushyant Singh operating at a profit buck chasing case going back to 1998.

The notice was issued on an intrigue by the Rajasthan Government testing their exoneration.

The named performers were absolved of all charges by the Jodhpur sessions court on April 5, 2018.

The occurrence happened when the on-screen characters went on a chasing undertaking in Kankani, Rajasthan while shooting for Rajshree Pictures' Hum Saath Hain.

Another performer, Salman Khan, is affirmed to have chased two dark bucks on September 26, 1998, at Jodhpur in Rajasthan. He was additionally part of the cast and team of the film Hum Saath Hain.

On October 2, 1998, the Bishnoi townspeople recorded a protest against Salman Khan and others following which Salman Khan was captured on October 12, 1998, while the others were allowed safeguard.

Salman Khan was discovered liable in April 2006 and indicted under Wildlife Protection Act by a preliminary court which condemned him to five years detainment and forced a fine of Rs 25,000. He went through six days in Jodhpur Central Jail.

On July 25, 2016, Salman Khan was vindicated by the Rajasthan High Court saying that there was no proof to demonstrate that the dark bucks chased were shot by the on-screen character's weapon, the permit of which had lapsed after which the Rajasthan Government moved the Supreme Court on October 19, 2016, testing the High Court's choice to absolve Salman Khan.The Statesman.
