Sunny Leone goes beyond boundaries

They say art has no boundaries. Keeping with the same spirit, Sunny Leone has gone beyond the boundaries (quite literally) for her next project. A new song called ‘Lovely Accident’ will see her collaborate with Bangladeshi musician, Taposh – better known as Kaushik Hossain Taposh. Apparently, it’s a “fast-paced, peppy track” by Jam8/Pritam “which has melodies and beats of Bangladesh and India mixed together”.

“Taposh is a total professional in every sense. He knows what sounds good and what he is looking for creatively, which is the best way for me to work with any artiste,” says Sunny, adding: “The idea was to capture the look and feel of the song in a way that will make our (Taposh and she) individual talents shine beautifully. So, we’ve showcased my dancing skills but since he isn’t a dancer, his musical talent has been shown through the visuals of the music video. It was interesting as well as challenging but we have pulled it off amazingly.”
Interestingly, the same song will see Sunny’s husband, Daniel Weber, make his debut as a producer — through the duo’s production house. “I have produced many including commercials in Los Angeles as well as music videos with my own music group. So, it’s not a debut in that sense but each project is unique and special in its own way. I love what I do and since I come from a creative and business background, putting things together is always exciting,” he says.
Daniel reveals that he has been a “huge fan” of a televised show called ‘Wind of Change’ that was broadcast out of Bangladesh. “It’s a Taposh creation that sees best musicians from all over performing with him. I was really amazed with it. It immediately struck me that it would be interesting to bring Sunny and Taposh together, so I discussed the same with Sunny,” he says. It’s believed that the song’s video, that has been directed by Sunny Rajani, will see over 100 dancers come together.
