National Film Award winning actress Sadika Parvin Popy is all set to appear in ‘Indubala’, a web series written and directed by Anonno Mamun.
This is the first time that the actress has worked in a web series. She informed ‘Indubala’ was shot in different locations of both Dhaka and Kolkata.
DhakaLive has news that Popy spent the entire day yesterday to dub for her role in the web series. The web series ‘Indubala’ will be aired soon.
“I really hope that the viewers will like this web series. Anonno Mamun has put a lot of effort in making this one. It was also a challenging task for him. Playing the central character, I have also given my best. I am optimistic about the project,” said Popy.
Tariq Anam Khan, Shaduzzaman Selim, Anchol, ABM Sumon and Imtu, among others, have also acted in this web series.
On the other hand, Popy is going to start the shooting for two new films very soon. These are Bulbul Bishwas’s ‘Cut Piece’ and Kazi Amirul Shova’s ‘Save Life’.
Besides, the actress has almost finished the work of Sadek Siddiqui’s film ‘Sahoshi Joddha’. She has already started shooting for the film ‘Kathgoray Sarat Chandra’, where she is playing the role of Parvati and Ferdous the character of Devdas.
