Two new films of Mamo coming up next month

Busy with playing numerous roles for the small screen throughout the year, National Film Award winner Zakia Bari Mamo still managed to appear in three films this year.
After her amazing performance in Arun Chowdhury’s ‘Alta Banu’, the actress has been featured in two more films—‘Shopner Ghor’ and ‘Dohon’—to be released in November.

‘Shopner Ghor’, directed by Taneem Rahman Angshu, is set to release on November 9, while ‘Dohon’, directed by Raihan Rafi, is set to hit the cinemas on November 16.
In the films ‘Shopner Ghor’ and ‘Dohon’, the actress will be seen playing the role of Maria and Maya respectively.
About the release of her films in the same month, Mamo said, “The films have completely different plotlines. Their teasers have already been released.  I have seen the viewer’s eagerness for both the films. I am really hopeful about them.”
“The quality of Bangladeshi films is improving. I believe that both ‘Shopner Ghor’ and ‘Dohon’ will attract people to the theatres,” she also said.
“‘Shopner Ghor’ is a horror film. As far as I know, this is not a very common genre for our viewers. I think this is going to create a different vibe,” she added.
However, Mamo is currently shooting for three new tele-dramas directed by Anjan Aich in Cox’s Bazar.
From November 5, the actress will be participating in promotions of her films.
