Emon, Airin pair up in film for first time



Actor Mamnun Hasan Emon and model-actress Airin Sultana have paired up for the first time in a film titled ‘Akash Mahal’. Noted filmmaker Delwar Jahan Jhantu is making the film under the banner of Impress Telefilm.
DhakaLive has news that the shooting of the film has begun at the Bangladesh Film Development Corporation (BFDC) in the capital from October 14.
Emon said about the film, “I started my film career through Impress Telefilm’s film ‘Daruchini Dwip’.  Later, I acted in a few other films of this organization. I hope that ‘Akash Mahal’ would be a wonderful film.”
Airin will play the role of Bina in this film. She said, “Impress Telefilm and director Delwar Jahan Jhantu are two prominent names in the film industry. I have got an opportunity to work with them for the first time. I am playing the role of the daughter of a woodsman, who fights against the evil power.”
After completing the shooting at FDC, the next phase of shooing will be shot in Gazipur and Cox’s Bazar.
Emon started his career by modeling. He acted in several dramas. Then he acted in numerous films, including ‘Gohine Shobdo’, ‘Lal Tip’, ‘Jonakir Alo’, ‘Ma er Jonno Pagol’, ‘Ontorongo’ and ‘Porobashinee’.
On the other hand, Airin Sultana started her media career after winning the Best Smile Award in Pantene You Got The Look 2008 contest. She has walked on numerous ramps both locally and abroad. On November 2013 Airin made her debut in the film industry with the movie Bhalobasha Zindabad directed by Debashish Biswas. In 2015 she appeared in the film ‘U-Turn’. She has made her mark on small screens also. Her first television drama was ‘Manpower’ by Ashutosh Sujon.
