Bangladesh’s ‘Youth Opportunities’ has launched its app for the iPhone users for the global youths.
Canadian High Commissioner in Dhaka Benoit Prefontaine launched the app at an event on Sunday and said he was “excited” to see such initiative from Bangladeshi youths.
“This could have been created in any country,” he said.
The Youth Opportunities is the largest web-based global platform for young people across the world where “opportunity seekers can meet with the opportunity providers”.
Using the app, one can get the information related to scholarships, conferences, exchange programmes and internships.
Osama Bin Noor, co-founder, said they launched their iPhone application based on their success in Android mobile application which received the national mobile application award from the government.
That app is currently being used by more than 127,000 users across the globe.
Noor said the new app will help youth around the world “to get access to success in no time”.
“This will accelerate the process of their search, for a better tomorrow,” Osama added.
