Ziaul Faruq Apurba and Mehazabien Chowdhury, a hugely popular duo on the small screen, are once again set to appear together in a special tele-drama titled ‘Priyo Tumi’ during upcoming Durga Puja. The drama is written by Tanin Rahman and directed by Mahmudur Rahman Himi.
With this tele-drama, Apurba and Mehazabien will be appearing together for the first time in any Durga Puja-special project. In ‘Priyo Tumi’, Mehazabien has portrayed the character of Priya, while Apurba has played the role of Arko.
DhakaLive has news that the shooting of tele-drama ‘Priyo Tumi’ was completed recently in a shooting house in Uttara of the capital.
Apurba said, “I earlier acted under the direction of Himi, and I have noticed that he has always been very serious about direction from the beginning. Also, his direction skill is improving day by day. Even he has made this tele-drama with lots of care.”
Mehazabien said, “I found the story of the drama was excellent. Himi and his unit worked with lots of care. As a result, it helped us to pay proper concentration in the work during the shooting. The audiences always like my work with Apurba Bhaia (actor Apurba). I expect that the audience will like this tele-drama as well.”
‘Priyo Tumi’ is scheduled to air on Nagorik TV in the upcoming Durga Puja, director of the tele-drama informed.
