After being appreciated by the viewers several times for appearing as father and daughter on TV screen, two popular faces of the country’s showbiz, Raisul Islam Asad and Zakia Bari Mamo will be seen playing the roles of father and daughter once again in an Eid special telefilm.
Dramatised by Parthib Shahriar and Mezbah Uddin Sumon, the telefilm titled ‘Bely Otopor’ is directed by Nazrul Islam Raju.
DhakaLive has news that the shooting of ‘Baily Otopor’ has begun in a shooting house of Uttara in the capital. However, for the demand of the story, a part of the shooting will take place on a Dhaka-Rajshahi and Rajshahi-Dhaka train on August 9 and 10.
About the plot, Nazrul Islam Raju informs that in the telefilm, Raisul Islam Asad will be seen as a businessman who suffers a huge loss due to a journalist’s report, who turns out to be the love interest of his daughter Mamo. With a situation like this, the story moves forward.
Raisul Islam Asad said, “I acted earlier under Raju’s direction and he takes time to accomplish the job with care. As he does not work in haste, I feel comfortable working with him. Also, I liked the story of the telefilm.”
“Mamo has played the role of my daughter in this telefilm. She is one of the best actresses in the recent times. I hope the audiences will like our performance”, the actor added further.
Mamo said, “Raisul Islam Asad is a legendary actor of our drama and film industry. He is also one of my favourite artistes. It’s a blessing for me to work alongside him, one of very few ideal artistes in the industry. It is an honour working with him.”
The telefilm ‘Belly Otopor’ is scheduled to air on NTV during the upcoming Eid-ul-Azha.
