Actor and global UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador for Child Rights, Priyanka Chopra, arrived in Bangladesh yesterday, to visit the Rohingya refugee camps. Risking death by sea or on foot, a huge number of Rohingyas fled the destruction of their homes and persecution in Myanmar to neighbouring Bangladesh.
Chopra also promotes causes such as women's rights, health, education and the environment.
According to her social media handles, Priyanka Chopra will stay in Cox's Bazar for four days. She encouraged her fans and admirers to follow her insta-stories, where she will be sharing her experience.
