Zinedine Zidane has called for an impromptu press conference at the Valdebebas training ground as speculation mounts that the Frenchman will resign from his role at Real Madrid.
Spanish outlets Cope and Cadena Ser have reported that Zidane has called the press conference to announce that he is leaving Real Madrid, while other reports emanating from Spain indicate that he had a drawn-out meeting with club president Florentino Perez last night.
The Real Madrid boss, who has won three Champions League titles on the trot, does not enjoy press conferences, leading to the fever-pitch.
However, other outlets are reporting that press conference was called so that Zidane could discuss the future of certain players at the club, namely Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale, who both refused to commit to their futures after last week's Champions League final.
