Rituparna in town to promote ‘Ekti Cinemar Galpo’



Popular Indian actress Rituparna Sengupta has come to Dhaka to participate in the promotion of her upcoming Bangladeshi film ‘Ekti Cinemar Galpo’ directed by veteran actor-director Alamgir. The film is set to be released on April 13 on the occasion of Pahela Baishakh.
DhakaLive has news that Rituparna has arrived in Dhaka on Tuesday and she will stay for five days to take part in the campaign of ‘Ekti Cinemar Galpo’.  
After a long hiatus, Rituparna will be seen acting in a Dhallywood film. She has acted opposite popular Dhallywood actor Arifin Shuvo.
Moreover, prior to its theatre release, Ekti Cinemar Galpo’ will have its audio release today.  Organised by Bangla Dhol, Rituparna, along with other cast and crew, will attend the audio release ceremony.
Rituparna said, “I’m very excited because after a long time, any of my film is going to be released in Bangladesh. Besides, Alamgir is also a very talented actor and a master maker. I’m eagerly waiting for the release of the film. The film tells an emotional story and I am requesting the viewers to come to the cinema halls for watching the film.”
Director of the film Alamgir said, “The film is dedicated to the craft of filmmaking and people associated with the craft. Some of my close friends, who have seen the film, said the film has an extraordinary story. I will consider myself successful if the audience enjoy the film in the cinema hall.”
The story, screenplay and dialogue of the film are written by Alamgir himself, while Asaduzzaman Majnu is the cinematographer for the film.
