Shrishti Cultural Centre to perform in Brunei



Shrishti Cultural Centre, one of the most prominent cultural organisations in the country, is going to perform in two cultural programmes in Brunei. On the occasion of the 48th Independence Day of Bangladesh, Bangladesh High Commission in Brunei and Bangladesh Association are jointly organising the shows.
DhakaLive has news that at the invitation of High Commissioner of Bangladesh to Brunei Air Vice Marshal Mahmud Hussain, Shrishti Cultural Centre will perform at the Indera Samudra Grand Hall of The empire Hotel in Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei on March 26.
On the other hand, the troupe will perform at a gala night organised by Bangladesh Association on March 31. The event will be held at 7pm at the Ball Room of The Rizqun International Hotel. Along with the ambassadors of different countries to Brunei, officials of High Commission and Bangladeshi citizens living there and eminent personalities will attend the programme.
Director of Shrishti Cultural Centre dance artiste Anisul Islam Hiru said, “Alongside dance performance with Bangla patriotic songs, folk music and songs and dance from the notable Bangla films will be presented during the programmes.”
Popular actress Apu Biswas is set to participate at the programmes in Brunei. Besides, promising singers Shwapnil Shojib, Zinia Luipa and dance artiste Labonno will also perform there.
Led by Anisul Islam Hiru, dance artistes Muhtamim Ul Haq, Mushfiqur Rahman, Imdadul Haq, Labonno, Kajal, Promi and Saba will perform dance at the programmes. Also, Ruptanu Dam, Alamgir and Shuvro will play different instruments during the shows.
The troupe will leave Dhaka for Brunei tomorrow night.
