Mousumi, Selim, Nadia share screen

Along with National Film Award-winning actor and director Shahiduzzaman Selim, two lustrous actresses of the showbiz Nadia Ahmed and Mousumi Hamid are coming together in an upcoming drama serial. The trio will be seen sharing screen in the drama serial titled ‘Ultopothe Ultorothe, scripted by Manos Pal and directed by Fazlur Rahman.

DhakaLive has news that the shooting of the drama serial has already begun from the last week. Mousumi Hamid will be seen portraying the role of Shahiduzzaman Selim’s wife, while Nadia Ahmed will be playing the character of Mousumi Hamid’s sister in the drama serial.

Shahiduzzaman Selim said, “Nadia and Mosumi are my co-artistes in this drama serial. They are both talented actresses and acted their roles nicely.”

Nadia shared her experience of working with Selim, “Besides being a gifted actor, Shahiduzzaman Selim is also a talented director as well. I have had the chance working with him side by side in various projects. I have also acted under his direction.”

“To me, he is always a teacher of acting. It is one of his habits to do a rehearsal first before acting in front of the camera which is very rare with others. He tries to inspire other artistes to love acting as much as he loves it”, she added.

 Mousumi said, “Shahiduzzaman Selim is one of those co-artistes from whom we have a lot to learn and I always enjoy working with him.

The drama serial ‘Ultopothe Ultorothe’ will be telecast on a satellite channel soon.
