A photography exhibition titled ‘Faces of Empowerment’ by GMB Akash will begin tomorrow at La Galerie of Alliance Française de Dhaka (AFD) in the capital’s Dhanmondi area.
Cultural Affairs Minister Asaduzzaman Noor will attend the inauguration ceremony of the exhibition as the chief guest and ambassador of Denmark to Bangladesh Mikael Hemniti Winther will also be present at the programme as the special guest.
Besides, the guest of honour of the inauguration ceremony is the 29-year old Rotna from rural Rajshahi.
The exhibition will remain open to all till 26 February and can be visited according to the following schedule: Monday to Thursday from 3pm to 9pm, Friday and Saturday (9am to12noon and 5m to 8pm). Closed on Sunday.
