After a break returning to acting, daughter of late popular actor Bulbul Ahmed, Oindrila Ahmed has become engaged with works. She has already finished shooting of two plays and a telefilm. Yesterday she also returned to modeling.
On Friday, Oindrila performed as a model in a new TV commercial of GrameenPhone under the direction of Amitabh Reza. Basically she has returned to modelling after a few years.
While talking in this regard Oindrila told this correspondent, “It is no doubt Amitabh Bhai is a talented director. Earlier I was supposed to work under his direction but I couldn’t. At last, I performed under his direction. I enjoyed a lot his direction. Therefore, it is great luck to get the opportunity to perform as a model in TVC of such a company like GrameenPhone. I am grateful to Allah. Within very soon the TVC will go on air.”
When Oindrila was only four years old she performed as a model in an advertisement of prize bond. After getting matured she performed as model in Afzal Hossain directed TVC, Suncrest. Later she also worked in 14 to 15 TVCs.
Oindrila also informed that she has also acted in three more plays under Dipu Hazra, Kazi Saif and Prithuraj's direction. She wants to continue acting now.
