Dinat Jahan Munni—a popular singer of the country has been known for singing old and modern songs with equal ease. As an obedient citizen and a conscious artiste of Bangladesh, she never gives any performance outside the country on Pahela Baishak, Ekushey February, Independence Day and Victory Day; rather, she performs at home for the countrymen.
DhakaLive has news that keeping up with the trend, Dinat Jahan Munni will stay home like the previous years and performance all day long on December 16. She will perform in four musical shows on the Victory Day. Beginning her day with performing in the musical show titled ‘Channel i Bijoy Mela’ in the morning, she will perform at a function at Bangabhaban from 12pm. Then, she will perform at the Gulshan Club in the capital from evening until 10:30 pm. Last but not the least, along with Rathindranath Roy and Timir Nandi, Munni will participate in a live show on NTV at 11:30 pm.
Dinat Jahan Munni said, “I always stay in the country during all the special days of Bangladesh, and spend a very busy schedule. I feel honoured when people of the country remember me on these special days and involve me in the musical performances. As I am the offspring of this country, I always try to stay in this country and give musical performances to the people of the country. I feel content and find love from within it.”
Apart from these, Munni has recently lent her vocal to a patriotic song written by Kabir Bakul and music arrangement by Maksud Jamil Mintu, which is also set to be released on the Victory Day.
