It was being speculated that Main Hoon Na writer Rajesh Saathi was to direct Kajol in her next film with Ajay Devgn Films. The project is said to be based on Anand Gandhi's Gujarati play Beta Kaagdo.
But Kajol put the rumors aside. "Pradeep Sarkar will be directing the film, and it will be a home production. I cannot divulge any more details," says Kajol.
While Kajol's last offering at the box office, Dilwale, did not exactly set the cash registers ringing, her husband Ajay Devgn's film Golmaal Again has crossed the Rs 200 crore mark. However, Kajol isn't surprised with the success. "What can I say? I just agree with the opinion of the entire nation. I loved the film," she states.
Recently, Kajol shared the stage with good friend Shah Rukh Khan at the Kolkata International Film Festival. Also present were Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan, and the actress says that it was a defining moment for her: "They are two of my favorite actors. I've always admired their work. Seeing both of them together was a great moment.
