Munni and Bappa together in playback for first time

Though two immensely popular singers Bappa Majumdar and Dinat Jahan Munni have been working in the country’s music arena since long time, they never worked together till now. This is for the first time that the duo has united together for a playback for the upcoming film ‘Gohin Baluchor’. The film, which received a grant the government, has been directed by Badrul Anam Soud.

Bappa and Munni have lent their vocal to a song titled ‘Bhalobasar Buk Bhasaiya’, tuned and composed by eminent music director Emon Saha. The lyric of the song is written by Badrul Anam Soud himself. Tanvir and Moon, the film’s hero and heroine respectively, will be seen lip-syncing the song on the silver screen.
Bappa Majumdar said about the song, “The lyric of the song is extraordinary. Undoubtedly, Emon Saha has done a great job. The song has a touch of our own culture as well as there is a flavour of Western genre. On the whole, it has appeared to be a wonderful song in the end. Besides, Munni’s contribution to the song is surprisingly beautiful.”
Munni said, “If have two good songs in the films, this song is going to be one of them. I am grateful to Suborna Mustafa for selecting me for the song. Besides, Badrul Anam Soud and Emon Saha have expressed fascinating gesture that they needed me in particular for the song. On the other, the song with Bappa Majumdar is also one of the best songs of my career. Overall, I am really optimistic about this wonderful song.”
The song will be available on the YouTube channel of G-Series very soon, director Badrul Anam Soud informed. The film is set to be released on October 20 this year.
