Popular film actress Pori Moni will act in a Chinese movie named 'Chasing Murder.' The film will be made by Huxiahui and Denipang, confirmed the actress.
Pori said, "The movie will be based on an incident which took place on May 6 last year. The incident became famous as 'Xiangxia shooting murder.' It pleasing to think that I'm going to be the first Bangladeshi to act in a Chinese movie."
She will act as a member of international police with a number of actors from China and Hong Kong, said the actress.Pori met with a person involved in the movie when she went to China a month ago during holidays.
The actress also said, "The signing for the movie will be held next month in China. Then the shooting will start. I have a very challenging role to play."
'Chasing Murder' will be produced by Fengu Tiangxia Film company.
