Bulbul Ahmed’s 7th death anniversary today



Today is the 7th death anniversary of Bulbul Ahmed, an accomplished actor who earned a permanent place in the hearts of millions of fans through his mesmerising acting ability, who died on July 15 in 2010.
Bulbul Ahmed was born on September 15 in 1940 in Dhaka. Before launching his acting career through stage drama in 1965, he worked as a banker from 1965 to 1975. He made his debut in television acting in 1968 before making a foray into filmdom. Bulbul Ahmed received four National Film Awards in his lifetime. He won the National Film Award for his role in the films ‘Shimana Periye’, ‘Shesh Uttar’, ‘Badhubiday’ and ‘Dipu Number 2’.
On the other hand, he directed the film ‘Rajlakkhi Srikanto’ in 1987, and the film won the National Film Award in 13 categories. The legendary actor appeared in more than 300 plays and 200 films until his death in 2010.
