BCB can amend its constitution, SC rules

Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) can amend its constitution, the Supreme Court ruled today.
A three-member bench of the Appellate Division headed by Chief Justice Surendra Kumar Sinha passed the order after disposing an appeal filed by BCB and National Sports Council.
The appeal was filed against a High Court verdict that declared an amendment to BCB’s constitution made by the National Sports Council illegal back in January 2013.
The ruling means that now there is no impediment to BCB holding an election.
